A session on “Mapping, Maps and Navigation Today” was conducted as a part of the Scouting programme on 28th of June 2025 by Dr. P. N. Wikramanayake. He holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a First Class Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya. He is also a senior lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at Open University of Sri Lanka and served as the Trinity College vice principal in 2020. We are grateful to have Dr. Nalin to educate our Scouts on different aspects of technologies and Senior Scout Arin for facilitating the request to conduct the session.
