On Saturday, 20th June 2026, the 39th Colombo Scout Group gathered in the Main School Hall to celebrate our 83rd Anniversary Celebration.
The occasion was graced by our Patron, Fr. Nihal Fernando. The event featured displays showcasing decades of troop history, alongside special felicitations for Rev. Fr. Nihal Fernando and Miss Yvonne, recognizing her 33 years of dedicated service to Scouting at S. Thomas’ Preparatory School. Our Cub Scouts also brought tremendous energy to the hall with a traditional Grand Yell for the Headmaster and Miss Yvonne!
A heartfelt thank you to our Group Advisors, Past Leaders: Miss Geetha Perera, Miss Neshima Fernando, Miss Chaarika Muththaiah, Former DC Mr. Riza Azoor, Former DC Mr. Suren Wickramathilake , Teachers, Assistant Leaders, Senior Scouts, Scouts, and Parents whose hard work made this event possible.
